Hello
My name is Silvia. I was born in Perú and grew up in San Ramón, a small town surrounded by evergreen mountains, in a valley with endless trees.
I remember that when I was little, I used to go very early with my mother to buy freshly milked cow's milk. And I also remember fondly that we would go to my grandfather's orange groves to drink fresh orange juice.
I think that since my childhood, nature has nurture my concept of beauty, and in fact I do not remember a day when I did not love art.
Today, my illustrations also represent unconditional friendship, family, tenderness, love, caring for each other, respect for living beings, and, above all, my illustrations
always involve the inner child that we all carry inside.
I now live in the United States, in Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina. I love using various composition styles, trying out new textures, and creating different characters by mixing digital and manual techniques. This is something that define me a lot. I also like the simplicity and charm of the imperfect.
Finally, over time I realized that the greatest satisfaction in life is doing what you are most passionate about and, although my shyness makes it difficult for me to make my work public, I am happy to know that I can give joy to other people through my art.
